WELCOME --Hi there! Welcome to
Revelry Junction -- a multi-fandom game that doesn't take itself very seriously. XD There are a couple of rules and need-to-know facts before joining, so just consult this handy little thread and then be on your way and join everyone on the OMG ISLAND OF DOOM. [ insert creepy music and cackles here ]
STORYLINE --Revelry Junction is technically an island. A fairly large island. But still an island. The most prominent thing on this island is a large carnival on the beach. It is prominent due to the neon lights that cover almost every inch of every unstable ride there. Lights also line the streets of the city on this island - flickering dull yellow lights. The city would probably be the most prominent thing on this island due to the height of the tall skyscrapers - but those are pitch black. No light can be found in them. Do you see a flash in one of the windows above you? Maybe. Or it could be your imagination.
The days on this island are just about non-existent and the nights are almost endless. The sun rises into the hazy sky and sets quickly, plunging the land into darkness, into a garishly lit eternal night, pulsing with the off-color bulbs of the carnival and the bonfires along the beach. The moon is large and full every evening, lending the rest of the land the only calm glow around. The air is filled with shouts and laughter, drunken rambles and hushed whispers -- unnerving music seeping from speakers well hidden.
People appear here. They arrive through the Hall of Mirrors; exiting their own worlds through mysterious reflective surfaces and arriving in this one, unscathed and usually confused. If they find the right mirror in the funhouse filled with thousands -- they can return, and come and go as they please. But if they don't, or give up looking, they're stuck in Revelry Junction.
Stuck there and forced to have some sort of
jarring fun.
RULES --There's only a few rules to follow and a few things to make note of -- once you read them, you can check the character list and then join up!
-- There's always the RPing basics. No god-modding, no tYpInG FuNnY, good spelling and grammar are a definite plus, stay active, only take characters you'll play regularly, be nice, etc. XD
-- There is no maximum number of characters you can have at once -- but pleeeeease be sure you play all the ones you have! No picking up characters and never playing them! Hehe.
-- Now, there is a maximum to the number of characters one person can have from one fandom and that it three.
-- As far as icons, FC/PB repeats are allowed only in a few cases. Since certain characters are associated with a particular actor, but that actor may previously be taken, an exception may be made. PB repeats are only allowed for a maximum of two characters. If you have any questions about this you can definitely PM me and I will be glad to help you!
-- Characters from all fandoms are allowed. TV shows, books, video games, movies, etc. Real people (actors singers, etc.) are not.
-- If a thread hasn't been posted in for one month (or roughly 30 days) then it will be closed and any characters in it are free to go RP in other threads.
-- Characters who have been inactive for 6 months will be taken off the list. Active means they are currently taking part in a thread, posting on the IC message board or are on "hiatus" and back at their own world. You cannot have more than five characters on hiatus at one time.
-- The IC; Message Board section is used by the characters where ever they are. It's basically a place where they can chat about things that have happened, talk to each other no matter what universe they're in, play stupid games. You know, that kind of thing. Think of it as Revelry Junction's Craigslist.
-- The IC; Roleplays & Logs section is for actual RPing, where characters are "face-to-face" -- whether it's somewhere in RJ, or back in their own worlds with characters from their own fandom. Read the forum descriptions for more detail.
-- The titles on the board for each character (under their icon) will be their name and what fandom they're from. So go crazy with their actual board names. XD

HOW TO JOIN --1.) Join the board with a normal name -- which you'll use to ( a ) post in this forum (the OOC forum), ( b ) PM the admins and ( c ) will be used on the contact list.
2.) Check the character list to make sure the character(s) you want isn't/aren't taken, then join up on the board with them. Their names should reflect them somehow. Since they'll be posting in the MESSAGE BOARD section like it's their own message board somehow -- go on and come up with an odd name for them. ;D
3.) Pick actors/actresses/whoever to play each of your characters -- and make sure your FC/PB fits the FC/PB rule.
4.) PM hexterah (that's me) and/or Aphy from your OOC name and share:
-- the characters you'll be playing
-- what fandom they're from
-- the people you're using to represent your characters
5.) Have fun!
